Chelsea Potthast, Principal

Chelsea’s bent toward art and design is no surprise since American Impressionist artist, Edward Henry Potthast, is her not too distant relation. Her undergraduate degree in Fashion Design followed by additional education at UCLA in Interior Architecture and Design prepared her for an exciting road ahead. She began her design career in Los Angeles working with a wide variety of clients in both hospitality and residential design. Chelsea returned to her hometown, St. Petersburg, in 2016, and opened her boutique interior design firm, Potthast Design. She is very active in the community participating in the Habitat for Humanity where she teaches a design class to new homeowner candidates. She also is a member of the Stuart Society, supporting the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, finding the hottest new restaurants in town, biking in the sunshine and spoiling her Persian cat, Cookie.
